COMMENT BY MINISTER V V ' » A statement that there was, no excuse for any thickly-populated area such as the North Shore to be without a pure and adequate water supply was made yesterday'by the . Minister of Health, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, when asked if any official representations had been made to him on the matter. He said he had no doubt that the Director-General of Health, Dr. M. H. Watt, and the deputy-director, Dr. R. A. Shore, who were in Auckland, were making themselves thoroughly conversant with the position, but no representations had been made to him during his visit by local bodies in the area.
