Plaza Theatre. —Walt Disney's fulllength . technicolour cartoon "Pinocchio-' will continue its season at the Plaza Theatre. to-day. The film is the story of a wooden puppet which comes to life. j Majestic Theatre.—A mighty saga of 1 the sea from the studios of Metro-Goldwvn-Mayer, "Mutiny on the Bounty," will begin a return season at tho Majestic Theatre to-day. The story of the Bountv and her crew, driven to mutiny by the intolerable rule of the master, Captain Bligh, is depicted with graphic realism. Mickey Rooncy gives a fine performance in the title role. Century Theatre.—'With a story reminiscent of "Cinderella," R.K.O. Radio s bright musical comedy "Irene' is now iu its second month at the Theatre. Anna Neagle has the title role, that of an Irish shopgirl,, who, as part of a publicity scheme, is catapulted into the cream of Manhattan society, with unexpected results. Kay Milla'nd is Miss Neagle's leading man. The supporting cast includes May liobson, Billie Burke, Arthur Treacher and Roland Young, The next attraction at the Centurv will he "Too Many Husbands," in" which the leads arc taken b.v Fred Mae-Murray, Jean Arthur and Melvyn Douglas. Eoxy, Tivoli Theatres.—Romance and drama are the ingredients of R.K.O. Radio's thrilling production, Bullet Code," which is the main ieature of the splendid double-feature programme now being shown at the Roxy and Tivoli Theatres. George O'Brien heads a talented cast. The lilting melodies of the cowboy lend colour to the second attraction, "The Singing Outlaw. Strand Theatre. —Several songs introduced iu "The Road to Singapore, the current attraction at the Strand Theatre, are proving popular numbers with Aucklanders.
