DEATH AT NINETY-TWO
LIFE SPENT IN AUCKLAND The death has occurred of Mrs. Harriett Cain, of Balmoral, who was born in Auckland 92 years ago. Mrs. Cain's parents arrived at Wellington from England in 1839 and made the journey to Auckland on foot. She was married in 1864 to Mr. James Cain, and for many years resided at Kopu, near Thames. For the past 11 years Mrs. Cain had lived in Balmoral and enjoyed excellent health until six months ago. Her husbflnd died in 1925 and there are no children.
