OLD SETTLERS' ROLL
The Early Settlers and Descendants' sub-committee of the Auckland Metropolitan Centennial Executive, which was responsible for compiling the re-cently-published early settlers' roll, terminated its existence last night at a valedictory meeting. The chairman, Mr. J. 13. Johnston, expressed his thanks to the Mr. Forbes Eadie, and to all others who had helped, including the honorary secretary, Mr. N. R. Chapman, and to many descendants of early settlers and others who had supplied essential information.
