BENZINE SHORTAGE
Sir, —May T point out different ways of saving petrol? In the first place a large percentage of the people use their cars for going to work , when it would be no hardship to travel by train, tram or bus; cheaper still, push the good old bicycle. 1 am informed Ihat one may obtain petrol for going to work over and above the allowance for pleasure. Why not out one or another out? This would be a very good and efficient way of saving petrol. 1 think one should sacrifice a little in times .such as these. ■ A Wor.Kixo Max.
