M AIM'S SKULL FRACTURED [by TELEGRAPH —OTS CORHESPOXDEXT j s PAEROA, Monday A fracture of the .base of the skull was suffered by Mr. Robert Poots, aged 55, of Paeroa, when the car he was. driving collided with a train at a crossing a mile from Paeroa on the Te Aroha road at 5 o'clock this everting.. The injured ;nan was attended at the Paero.iL Hospital and was later transferred to the Thames Hospital,- where his condition is serious.
