INCIDENT AT CAFE
SAILORS STOP SUSPECT ARREST MADE BY POLICE A young man who was leaving the Empire Cafe in Customs Street West on Saturday night was intercepted, by two sailors who had been looking through the window, and lie was held until the arrival of a constable. A detective who arrived shortly afterward was told that at about S.lo o'c lock two men entered the cafe. The firstasked for some fish, and, while the waitress went to the far end of the shop, the other man rifled the till. The two sailors, who were looking through the window, said they reached the door in time to grapple with a man as he ran on to the street. An arrest was made, and the man charged will appear in the Police Court this morning.
