PRODUCTION IN HAWKE'S BAY EXCELLENT RETURNS REPORTED [bv tklkghaph—o*wx cohkkspondknt] HASTINGS, Friday Honey producers in Hawke's Bay have had particularly good returns this season, several apiaries having had record yields. Average production has been between 9011). and 1001b. ol honey a hive, which lias been due to abnormal flush of clover during the spring and in January prior to the advent ol winds. This is the third good season in succession enjoyed by Hawke's Bay apiarists, and the average production has been about 701b. a hive. Last season the production average was nearer 801b., and in one or two cases this season producers averaged over 1001b. a hive.
