INSPIRING EVENT TRIBUTES BY AUSTRALIANS [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS WELLINGTON, Tuesday Tributes from Australian bishops to those responsible for the New Zealand National • Eucliaristic Congress were paid at the closing rally attended by 1600 in the Town Hall. The Most Kev. Ed in r-nd Glecson. Bishop of Maitland, New South Wales, said the congress had been an inspiring event and the organisation had been perfect. The Most liev. Thomas Fox, Bishop of W.Ucannia-Foi bes, Australia, said he had been edified by the deep spirit of faith manifest bv Catholics in New Zealand. Gratitude to the Papal Legate, Archbishop Panieo, was expressed by Archbishop O'Shea, who also praised the work of the bishops and the people of other dioceses. Monsignor Delany, of South Dunedin, expressed the thanks of South Island people. .
