WRESTLING
NEW BODY FORMED FIRST BOUT ON MONDAY Tho promotion of wrestling matches will not in future be left entirely to tho Dominion Wrestling Union, as a group of New Zealand sportsmen recently decided to form a new organisation, to be known as the New Century Sports Club. The new body will havo branches in Auckland and "Wellington. Arrangements havo been made to import several inatmen from Australia, and the first two matches will be staged next Monday night. Ironman McGinty and Tiger Atkins will -wrestle at tho Auckland Town Hall, and Jack Clark, already well known in tho j Dominion, will meet Gcorgo O'Brien in Wellington. Tho bout in Auckland promises to provide a stirring encounter. Atkins, who has been wrestling in Australia and mooting the best of tho visiting matmen, has a reputation of being a rugged and spectacular performer. Possessed of great strength and stamina, he is a tireless worker and gives his opponent no rest. McGinty, who gained most of his experience in Dublin, should prove a "worthy opponent for Atkins. He claims as his most notable performance a draw against Danno O'Mahoney just prior to the latter holding tho world's championship. The principal contest will bo preceded by three all-in professional preliminary bouts.
