LADIES' COMPETITION CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS PLAY AT TITIRANGI TO-DAY The annual provincial ladies' champion of champions golf contest will be played at Titirangi to-day, commencing at 9 a.m. A senior open day will be he,ld in conjunction "with the major event. Following is tho draw for the first round of the championship, tho pairs toeing-off at four-minute intervals, and being followed by those taking part in the open day event: — Miss 0. Stevens (North Shore) and Mrs. W. S. Ralph (RemueraV. Mrs. G. F. Ferguson (Auckland) and Mrs. P. Andrew (Titirangi and Pupuke). Mrs. H. EL'. Bray (Glendowie) and Mrs. F. Brewer (Otahuhu), Mrs. G. I'V Laird (Maungakiekie) and Mrs. P. Preston (Akarana), Mrs. P. H Barnard (Manukau) and Mrs. P. H. Browne (Orakei). Miss N. Muir (Waiuku) and Mrs. Hogan (Pukekohe). Waitemata Ladies.—Tho final of Hie Waitemata Ladies' Golf Club's championship was won by Mrs. A. I. Wallace, who defeated Mrs. J. Ford in the final. 1 up. Pupuke Ladies. —A medal round was played yesterday, the best scores being as follows: —Mr.s. W. Da vies. 00. '28—7:1; Mrs. A. Tysoc, !)(), 18—72; Mrs. F. Brown, 05, 2.'i —72; Airs. N. Roberts, 3 00, 27—73. A flag match was won by Mrs. Davies, who placed the flag by tho 18th hole. Leggoe, iM, 30 —78. Juniors: Mrs. G. Saunders, 30,, —75; Mrs. D. Rcid, 00, 23—70; Mrs. R. Grant, 305, 28 —77. Miss O'Neill won Mrs. Houghton's trophy and Mrs. Saunders the club trophy.
Closing at Otahuhu. —The Otahuhu Golf Club will closo its season on Saturday afternoon, when mixed bogey foursomes will bo played. Tho presentation of prizes will take place subsequently. Following is the club's team to play Orakei at Otahuhu on Sunday in the B grade pennant final: —W. B. Eustace (captain), H. W. Bell, A. E. Wilkinson. A. Bnllen, A. P. Eustace, F. M. Andrews. G.
