GARAGE BURGLARY

MONEY AND CAR TAKEN POLICE MAKE AN ARREST An intnfder who broke into the parage of Smith and Sin ton, Limited, at Hangiriri, on Sunday night, rifled the till of 365, and drove away in a motor-car which was housed on the premises. The car was returned before morning, and left, outside the garage door, after having travelled 60 miles. Entrance was gained to the garage through a side door. No damage was done to the door or the till, and it was the presence of the car in the street that first directed the attention of the proprietors to the burglary. A youth was arrested yesterday by the Huntly police, and lie will be charged in the Children's Court.
