DAY OF PRAYER

Sir, —I read with great pleasure and interest the letter under the heading "Day of Prayer," and wish to thank "Two Minutes Silence" for the suggestion to observe a daily period for prayer throughout the war. Daily at ]1 O'clock, we could nationally hold ourselves in silent remembrance of those that have gone before, of those that are now going, and, most of all, in silent sympathy for those who are being destroyed in thousands now in Europe. Your correspondent asks: —"Is it too much to ask that we do this?" May I ask, fs it enough? and suggest that we meet with our Lord three times daily, morning, noon and night, for this purpose. MonNixo, Noon and Night.
