SINCLAIR—HITCHINGS Many guests from Wellington, Hawke's Bay and the King Country attended the wedding on July 1 at All Saints' Church, Pnlmerston North, of Miss Shicla Nora Hitehings, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Hitehings, formerly of Te Awamutu, and Mr. Oliver James Boslin, only son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. H. Sinclair, of Auckland. The bride wore an exquisite gown of old Brussels lace belonging to her mother. The bodice and long sleeves were of rucked net with a Bertha of the lace, and the full skirt fell into a slight train. She wore a cream tulle veil and carried a bouquet of cream cyclamen and freezias. The bride was attended by two little flower girls, Margaret Isaac and Boseinary Barker, both of To Kuiti. They were dressed in Kate Green away frocks of flame net with gold leaves in their hair, and carried golden posies to match. I'tye bridegroom was attended by Mr. C. K. Home, of Auckland, as best man. Acting as ushers were Mr. V. MacD. Hitehings and Mr. V. T. Hitehings. The reception was held at Otawhai, the residence of Air. B. E. Keiller, a cousin of the bride's mother, and Mrs. Keiller. Mrs. Hitehings wore a model frock of chestnut brown satin-backed crepe with a spray of orchids on the bodice. Mrs. Grant, sister of the bride, had on a gown of black satin relieved with white, and a spray of freezias. Mrs. Keiller was in a tailored cocktail suit of black and white, with a spray of deep red carnations.

TAYLOR—LONG The marriage took place on Saturday at the Epsom Presbyterian Church, Gardner Road, of Miss Ruth Lillias Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Long, of Bingley Avenue, Epsom, and Mr. Robert James Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. K. J. Taylor, of Mount Albert Road. The Rev. J. W. McKenzie officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of tea rose satin, with a slashed bodice revealing pintucks: The skirt had a front panel of small pleats flaring at the hem. Her veil of tulle, flowing from a coronet of orange blossom, extended to the end of the train. The two bridesmaids were Miss Marie Loup;, sister of the bride, and Miss Linda Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, who were dressed in frocks of apple green taffetas, cut on Victorian lines. Each carried a primrose-shaded posy. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Arthur Taylor, as best man, and by Mr. Colin Wood as groomsman. A reception was afterward hold at the home of the bride's parents, the guests being received by Mrs. Long, nssisted by Mrs. Taylor. The bride's mother was in a bottle green ensemble, with a hat to tone, and Mrs. Taylor wore nigger brown embossed georgette with a matching hat.
