PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL
Exhilarating musical items by the cabaret orchestra of six instruments were one of the chief attractions at the Pirate Ship Cabaret at Milford on Saturday night, where many people had assembled for the weekly carnival dance. With its shaded lights and warm autumnal colour scheme, the lower deck presented a cosy and inviting sotting. The Palais Glide and Lambeth Walk dances were received with much applause anil repeated demands for encores. The winners of the Monte Carlo waltz were Miss M. Connor and Mr. R. Da vies. The second prize was won by Miss P. King and Mr. K. Meyer.
