AIRMAN'S DEATH
ACCUSED DISCHARGED NO PROOF OF MANSLAUGHTER (Received Juno 25, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Juna 21 The charge of manslaughter brought against Samuel Reeves in connection with tho death of the airman, Captain Nicholas Comper, on Juno 18, was dismissed owing to lack of evidence.
Captain Comper was a practical joker and it was found that lie was letting off fireworks when accused struck him, thinking he was setting off a bomb. The magistrate paid Reeves' costs.
