LONDON OUTRAGES IRISH SUSPECTED 19 PEOPLE INJURED RAPING EXTREMISTS By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received Juno 25, 0.30 p.m.) LONDON. Juno 25 After a period of quiescence, the week-end was marked by furthei bomb explosions attributed to Irish Republican Army activities, following upon the banning of its operations in. Ireland. Bombs burst at the corner of Piccadilly Circus and Shaftesbury Avenue and elsewhere, constituting the most daring outrage yet perpetrated in London. At least 19 people were injured. Great crowds were attracted to the various localities. The first bomb exploded in front of a tobacconist's shop. It scattered cigar boxes and tins of tobacco over tho pavement, shattered windows of the Westminster Bank, and threw a newspaper seller down tho stops of tho underground railway.

Men in a Taxi Onlookers state that two men drove up in a taxi and ono of them threw something. The other man disappeared in the crowd. Diners in an adjoining Chinese restaurant were much startled. Tho place was littered with broken glass. Tho second explosion occurred outside Lloyd's Bank, Piccadilly. This broke some windows. A taxi driver saw two men wearing rain coats dashing into the Piccadilly subway station. Tho third explosion was at tho corner of Aldwych and Bow Streets, just as theatre crowds were dispersing. This littered tho pavement with glass. There were cries of: "Lynch them," from theatregoers, some of whom dropped handbags and ran for their lives. Midland Bank Damaged An explosion at the Midland Bank, Park Lane, blew out the front of tho building and hurled the front door and a safe across the road into Hyde Park. Guests in adjacent fashionable hotels began to dress, but were reassured. Three men were taken to Vino Street Police Station. An incendiary bomb burst in a pillar box outside Madame Tussaud's waxworks in Marylebone Road. No one was injured. Yet another bomb was found in a cloakroom at Oxford Circus station. Bombs at Waxworks Nineteen persons were treated at Charing Cross Hospital as the result of the bomb explosions, and it is feared ono will lose an eyo. A nightwatchman found three incendiary packages early this morning inside Madame Tussaud's. Two had caused small fires, damaging one model, and the third exploded harmlessly when plunged into water. An order declares that the Irish Republican Army ought to be suppressed in the public interest, says a message from Dublin. A Republican commemoration parade has been banned, as has the army organisation itself.
