SOCIAL GATHERING VARIED ENTERTAINMENT Bridge, dancing and items provided most enjoyable entertainment at the social evening held by the Dnnedin Club on Wednesday in the Catholic Women's League rooms. Bowls of Iceland poppies, stands of fern, and vases of 1i! i os-of-111 e- valley made very attractive decorations in the lounge, where bridge was played. Acting as joint hostesses were Mrs. P. K. McGuire and Miss M. Oram. The former was wearing a frock of cyclamen georgette, with corsage spray to tone, and Miss Oram wore a frock of dahlia red georgette over mauve taffetas, with velvet corsage spray to match. During the evening elocutionary items were given by Mrs. R. Haggart.
