ENGLISH COUNTIES
SOCIAL EVENING HELD There was a large attendance of members and friends of the Gloucester and Somerset Association at a social held on Tuesday night at the Manchester Unity Hall. A guest of honour was the Very Rev. Dr. R. C. Gillie, who gave an interesting address on the city of Bath. A programme of instrumental and vocal items, to which the following contributed, was presented:—Mrs. Fagan, Mrs. H. Smith, Messrs. Trundle, Hickling, and Norman Tate. Orchestral selections were also presented under the direction of Mrs. Fagan. Following supper, which was served by the committee, dancing took place.
