Rhind, of Westbourno Road, Remuera, left with her husband last night on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs. S. Clark and Miss Mavis Clark, of Wallace's Hill, To Awamutu, have returned home alter an extended tour of the South Island. Mrs. Frank Mills, of Muriwai, Gisborne, who has been visiting relatives in Auckland, left by ear yesterday on her return to Poverty Bay. Miss Norah Lynch, of Woodside Road, Mount Eden, who has been staying with Miss Daphne Walker, of Katikati, will return home to-day. Miss Jean Kellick, of Wanganui, and Miss 01 wen Rowlands, of Wellington, are spending a holiday in Auckland as the guests of Miss Phyll Baker, Domain Drive. Airs. J. H. Garrett and Miss Sonia Garrett, of Laurie Avenue, Parnell, will leave by the Monterey on Monday for San Francisco, en route to England and Scotland. Mrs. Mackay and Miss Mackay (London), Mrs. M. Lark in (Wanganui), Mrs. O'Connor (New Plymouth) and Mrs. S. M. Monckton (Gisborne) are at the Station Hotel. Miss Audrey Kirk, Mount Hobson Road, Remuera, has returned home after a month's tramping holiday through the Urewera country and Lake Waikaremoana district. Miss Keitha Weir, who has been spending some months in Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday to visit her parents, Colonel arid Mrs. N. W. McD. Weir, Parnell Road.

Mrs. S. Westmacott, of Otorohanga. who returned recently from an overseas trip, will be a visitor to Hastings to attend the Dominion Girl Guides' commissioners' conference, which will open 011 Friday. Mrs. Charles White, Dominion president of the League of Mothers, will arrive in Auckland this morning from Wellington to attend the provincial conference, which will open to-morrow at the Baptist Tabernacle. Mrs. A. G. N. Wyatt, of Coombes Road, Remuera, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. M. Chautrev, who returned this week from a visit to Whangarei Heads, loft by the Matua last evening on a three weeks' cruise to the Islands. Mrs. A. McCosh Clark, Bassett Road, Remuera, will leave by motorcar to-morrow for Hawke's Bay to attend the Dominion Girl Guides' commissioners' conference. Mrs. McCosh Clark is an Auckland divisional commissioner of the association. Mrs. D. B. Robertson, of Remuera Road, will leave to-morrow for Hawke's Bay, where she will attend the Dominion Girl Guides' commissioner's conference in Hastings. She will be the guest of Miss Elsie Williams, at Friinley. Miss Marie Randall, of Guernsey, who has been spending some months in New Zealand, is at present visiting Quecnstown and the Miliord Track. She will return to Auckland 011 March 15 to stay with Mrs. G. W. Spencer, Marine Parade, Heme Bay, and will leave for Sydney 011 March 22. A niece of Mrs. Neville Chamberlain, .Miss Valerie Cole, is this year's debutante from one of Britain's most famous homes, wrote our London correspondent 011 February 9. Miss Colo will go from No. 10. Downing Street, to the London dances during the season and will bo chaperoned by Mrs. Chamberlain.
