COURT FINES SUPPLIERS [BY TELEGKAI'I! —OWN CORRESPONDENT] DAHGAVILLE, Friday Eight charges of unlawfully supplying liquor to Maoris at Pahi, within the Ngata Whatua proclaimed district, were admitted by Pat Healy in the Dargaville Magistrate's Court before Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M. He was fined £5, with 10s costs, on two counts, and £2 10s, with 10s costs, on another count. He was convicted and- discharged on the other counts. Charges of aiding and assisting with the supply of liquor to Maoris at Pahi on December XX. were admitted by James Watene and Nathan I'atia. W'atene was convicted and discharged, and Tana was fined £6. with 10s costs.
Pleas of not guilty were entered by James Watene and Hey Mitai to charges of aiding and assisting with the supply of liquor to Maoris at Pahi. on December 30. Both were fined £5, with 10s costs.
