TRAINING CAMP FOOD

Sir, —Please allow me space in your paper to reply to "An Objector," who writes that boys are on wartime rations while at the training camp, and these rations do not seem enough for boys. Well, this year many others and I went for a week's training at Narrow Neck, and I think that we should be good judges of the conditions. When at mess we received ample and sometimes wo could get another helping of whatever was going. All the boys stated that the food was just as good as we received at home, while in some cases it would be better. I know one fellow who went up 111b. in weight while there. Still, some people would complain at anything. At every mess an officer would come around and ask if there were any complaints. Why didn't "An Objector" complain then? The matter would have been investigated. Corporal Satisfied.
