GIFT TO CHURCH
STAINED GLASS WINDOW UNVEILING BY ARCHBISHOP A strikingly designed and richly coloured stained glass window will be unveiled by Archbishop Averill at the morning service at St. George's Church, Epsom, to-morrow. The window lias been presented by Mrs. Preston Chambers in memory of her husband, the late Mr. Preston Chambers, a prominent surveyor, who died at Auckland on November 25, 1936, at the age of 82. The window, which was executed by Messrs. J. Asliwin and Company, Sydney, depicts three events in the life of Christ —the Nativity, the Baptism and the Ascension. It is expected that members of tho Institute of Surveyors, tho Die-kens Fellowship and tho Victoria League will bo present at tho service.
