FOG OVER AIRPORT
MACHINE UNABLE TO LAND ANOTHER AERODROME USED [by TELEGRAPH—PRESS association] NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday So heavy was the fog over New Plymouth airport this morning that the Union Airways air liner due from Auckland at 9.5 a.m. was unable to land. It headed for the Hawora aerodrome, landing there shortly afu>r 10 o'clock. This is the first time that the machine has landed at Hawera as an alternative to New Plymouth.
