CYCLISTS ON PATH
DANGER TO PEDESTRIANS ONE TREE HILL COMPLAINT A suggestion that a notice should be placed at either end of the footpath leading from Market Road to Ranfurly Avenue, One Tree Hill, owing to the danger of pedestrians being struck by cyclists, was made by a resident in a letter received at a .meeting of the One Tree Hill Borough Council last night. The resident said that cyclists rode down the path at full speed, instead of dismounting and walking with their cycles. The most dangerous point was leading from Ranfurly Avenfie. where there was a bend, and a hedj>e obscured the vision of both parties. The matter was referred to the traffic inspector for. a report.
