TO-DAY'S ATTRACTIONS
CONTINUATION OF SPORTS CRICKET AND BOWLING To-day's list of sporting attractions is a comparatively small one and consists only of tournaments and events which have been in progress all the week. Both the provincial cricket tournament at Eden Park and country week at the Domain have reached a particularly interesting stage, and exciting cricket is anticipated to-day.
The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's tournament concluded yesterday, but play will still bo in progress to-day iu the North Island Catholic tournament at Bemuera. The Auckland Bowling Centre's tournament lias also reached its most interesting stage, with leading teams contesting tho honours.
The Cheltenham Bench carnival is still in progress and, wi.ile there are no sporting events arranged for to-day, several events will bo held to-morrow, including tho "Miss Cheltenham" bathing beauty contest, swimming and rowing.
