LOOK-OUT MAN'S ESCAPE
BULLET SHATTERS WINDOW [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] ItOTORUA, Thursday A narrow escape from serious injury was experienced by Mr. J. Heath, tho State Forestry Department's lookout at the look-out station on the top of the Bainbow Mountain, about 20 miles from Jjotorua, on Boxing Day, when a bullet fired from a heavy calibre riHe shattered one of tho windows of the small hut in which he was sitting. It is not known whence the bullet came.
