TAKAPUNA BRANCH MORNING TEA PARTY A morning tea to mark the close of the year's activities was hold by the Takapuna Plunket Committee yesterday at the home of the president, Mrs. G. H. Matthews. A bouquet was presented to Miss M. White as a small mark of appreciation of her services as emergency voluntary ear driver, and a new member, Mrs. C. W. Mcßride, was welcomed. A comEetition was won by Mrs. Archie Campell (Northcote), and Mrs. J. Dickie {Waimate South). Car drivers for the present month are:—Mrs. H. W. Lister, Mrs. R. P. Smallfield, Mrs. Boberton, Mrs. E. Winstone, Miss- M. Brett and Miss B. Hawes. The nurse's report for November was as follows:—New cases, 7; visits to homes, 55; visits to rooms, adults 190, babies 185, older children 52, making a total of 427. Box money amounted to £1 7s 9d. For Belmont the report was: New cases, 3; visits to homes, 16; visits to rooms, adults 43, babies 40, older children 6, making a total of 89. Box money amounted to 6s 9d.
