THE APPEAL FOR FUNDS CAMPAIGN OPENS TO-DAY Tho health stamp campaign will be inaugurated by the Governor-General, Viscount Galway, in an address to be broadcast this evening. Health stamps will be on sale to-morrow, and the procoeds will be used to finance a movement which is entirely in the interests of the health of children of the Dominion. It has been indicated by health camp organisations that they will provide for nearly 4000 children this season. This number is limited only by tho extent of health stamp resources, which are relied upon for extended activities made possible by the improved and enlarged camps now provided. The children of Auckland City and province will be provided for by the Auckland Central Council's attractive camps at Motuihi and Campbell's Bay. It is expected that 1534 will attend these camps during the season. Another camp is to he conducted by the Waikato Children's Camp League near tho mouth of the "Waikato River, where about 750 children will enjoy themselves during the summer. The Otaki cam]), conducted by the Wellington Children's Health Camp Association, will absorb over 600 children from a wide area. Thero will bo another camp at Wanganui catering for at least 50 children from the West Coast, North Island.
