SCHOOL COMMITTEES
DOMINION EXECUTIVE THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS Officers of the national executive of the Federation of School Committees were elected at the quarterly meeting of tho Auckland School Committees' Association on Wednesday night. Mr. W. H. Fortune, of Auckland, was elected national president at the conference of the School Committees' Federation held at Christchurch last week. The following officers were elected: Secretary-treasurer, Mr. A, T. Dow; executive, Mrs. F. W. Mountjoy, Messrs. A. A. Buckley, C. S. Morris, F. C. Race and L. E. Rhodes. The following were co-opted members: —Mrs. G, T. McLeod, Messrs. H. E. Burton, A. B. Carmichael, A. G. Harris and D. Millar.
