AMERICAN MIGRANTS
PLAN FOR AUSTRALIA SIR EARLE PAGE'S SUGGESTION (Received Auprust 23, 5.5 p.m.) HONOLULU, August 22 The Australian Minister of Commerce, Sir Earle Page, who is a passenger by the Monterey, suggested in an interview the emigration of surplus American labour to Australia, as a moans of strengthening Anglo-American relations. Sir Earle said Australia hoped for increased investment of American capital, and was ready and able to absorb migrants.
