LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Kohimarama.—The annual meeting of'this branch of the League of Mothers was held in the Presbyterian Church. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs. E. N. Allen; vice-presidents, Mrs. L. Eady, Mrs. C. E. Phillips and Mrs. F. Or. H. White; secretary, Mrs. J. T. Lediard; treasurer, Mrs. S. Eady; magazino and library secretary, Mrs. R. Lediard; committee, Mrs. Currie, Mrs. Woolley, Mrs. Orr and Mrs. L. Phillips. An address on the Passion Play wa3 given by the provincial president, Mrs. S. 0. English, and a song was rendered by Mrs. Currie.

Whangarei.— The annual meeting of the Whangarei League of Mothers was recently held. The following officers were elected for the coining year:— President, Mrs. J. A. Jnkster; vicepresidents, Mrs. W.
