JEWS IN AUSTRIA LATEST NAZI DECREE VIENNA, Augnirt 1 A decree for Aryan maids under 45 years to quit Jewish employment today is proving difficult to implement, as" there are 20,000 in Vienna alone. The Nazis are experiencing difficulty in finding substitute employment for the women in many cases, and exemptions have been granted to one in 10. Several trainloads of women have already been sent to Germany, while others have been told to go to the Austrian countryside to assist in harvesting.
