The Bay of Plenty League wrote asking for further information regarding a match for the Waitangi Shield. The matter was referred to the Maori Board of Control for a report on the prospects of a visit to Taneatua. v A severe caution was administered to L. Cootes, a Ponsonby forward, who was ordered off in a senior game last Saturday. It was pointed out that, although a warning had been issued to all clubs, it was Cootes' first offence.
