BIRKENHEAD MEETING The fnonthlv gathering of the Birkenhead branch of the Mothers' Union, held in the parish hall, was largely attended Mrs. P. C. Davis presided. The speaker was the Rev. P. Smallfield, whose reminiscences concerning Samuel Marsden were most interesting. The hostesses were Mrs. Dixon and Mrs. Neads. The meeting was preceded by a service in All Saints' Church,' conducted by the vicar of Birkenhead, the Rev. P. C. Davis.
