HALF-HOLIDAY CHANGED
SATURDAY AT TAURANGA [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Thursday The Tauranga Borough Council has been advised bv the Labour Department that Saturday is being gazetted a half-holiday as from June 13. This moans that the Saturday half-holiday will operate as from June 38. At the local body elections the proposal for a Saturday half-holiday was carried by a very large majority. Wednesday has been the day observed for many years.
