CROQUET CLUB PARTY

FUNCTION AT REMUERA PRESENTATIONS TO MEMBERS A very successful party was held on Friday afternoon by the Remuera Croquet Club, when members and honorary members met to honour two of their members —Mrs. L. Keys, winner of the A section, and Mrs. J. Henrys, winner of the B section in the recent champion of champions event. During the afternoon tea recess the president, Mrs. J. Jarvie, after congratulating Mrs. Keys and Mrs. Henrys on their splendid success and the honour brought to their club, made a personal gift to each of them. Mrs. C. Webber, president of the Auckland Association, and Mrs. D. Harvey, president of the Mount Hobson Club, also extended their congratulations.

Several half-hour games were played. Prizes were donated by Mrs. Bassett, Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Webber and Miss Stevenson, and were won by. Mrs. Bruce, Mis. Ellison, Mrs. Swales and Mrs. Bassett.
