HAMILTON SOCIETY MEETING SOUND FINANCIAL POSITION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday "Owing to the support of the public the society, which owed £IOO last year, has paid all its indebtedness and'now has a ß balance of £150," said Mr. S. N. Ziman, president of the Hamilton Amateur Operatic Society, at the annual meeting last evening. There was an attendance of 60 members. Mr. Ziman said the society proposed to produce "The Vagabond King" this year. The services of Mr. Walter George had again been secured as producer. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. A. E. Manning, president, Mr. S. X. Ziman; secretary, Mr. 1). Calderwood; committee. Dean T. P. Weatherhog, Messrs. J. Bateson, R. S ; R. Seddon, A. G. Ward, B. E Woodhams and E. F. Clayton-Greene.
