BAY OF ISLANDS CATCHES [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] RUSSELL. Sunday Three striped marlin swordfish of 3371b., 3531b. and 3581b. were caught by Dr. G. Fenwick, of Auckland, while fishing on Friday. The water was warm and the fish were plentiful and biting well. The launchman, Mr. L. Blomfield, of Russell, had a shark hook caught in his hand while Dr. Fenwick was casting dangler tackle, and the launch made a fast trip back to Russell, where Mr. Blomfield received medical attention.
