ARMAMENTS EXPORT
Sir, —In regard to Britain's export of aircraft, as reported in the Herald of April 6, a large portion has evidently been to British Dominions. America appears to have been largely the source or supply of armaments to those whose policies cause us uneasiness. Now these purchasers are finding difficulty in paying spot cash and the supplies are being curtailed. It may bo that America considered that by giving sufficient rope to certain peoples they .would be likely to hang themselves, but, unfortunately, before doing so, they have done damage and may do more. W. S. Lang.
