IMPROVING COX'S CREEK

Sir, —I would suggest that before tho lower houses by Cox's Creek are finished, the Government or the city authorities fill in the evil-smelling mudflats, which are enough to give people around there fever. There would then be ground for more houses. Then fill in the other mndflat the same way, but make a sports ground, tennis court and children's playground of it. It would also be rent-producing. Let the beautifying society lay out the grounds to be a credit to Auckland. Improvements.
