MISSIONARY WELCOMED
A missionary from the Central Japan Pioneer Mission, Miss Dorothy A. Parr, who arrived from Australia this week, was welcomed at a joint meeting of the New Zealand council of the mission and prayer helpers on Thursday, held at the home of Mr. ft. T. Page, Cliarfton Avenue. The Dominion president, the Rev, A. S. Wilson, presided. An outline of the steps leading to the founding of the mission by Miss M. A. Burnett, about 11 years ago, was given bv Miss Parr. A tour of New Zealand lasting about four months has been planned by Miss Parr.
