TOWN AND COUNTRY VISITS Mrs. A. H. Jones, of Lake Road, is visiting Sydney Mrs. It. Lewis, of New Plymouth, spent the week-end in Rotorua. Mrs. H. H. Davis, of Luke Road, lias returned home after spending n holiday at Mount Maunganui.. Mrs. J. R. Blencowe, of Arawa Street, and Mrs. H. Holey, of l'ukaki Street, have left for a motor tour through Hawke's Bay to "Wellington. Sirs, X. Steele, of Frueru Street, if spending a holiday at Makotu. Mrs. D H. Greig, of Pukaki Street, is spending a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. R. White, of Lower Hutt, is visiting Rotorua. Mrs. T, V. Humphreys, of Herewini Street, is spending a holiday at Christchurch.
Mtb. W. J. Scott, of Phillips Street, who has been visiting Waiheke Island, has returned home.-
Mrs. J. J. Nixon, of Auckland, accompanied by her daughter, is visiting her mother Mrs. W. D. Young, ol Pukaki Street.
Mrs, JO. McCnrthney, of Waihi, is spending a holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. C. P. Allen, of Rangiuru Street, has returned home after spending a holiday at Takapuna, Auckland. Mrs. A. V. P. Ford, of Easson Street, who has been visiting Tauranga, is now. spending a few days in Auckland. Mrs. .T. Liggins, of Wanganui, has returned home after a holiday spent in Botorua.
Mrs. R. E. Stewart, of Sophias Street, lins returned home after spending a holiday in New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs. If. Lewis. .Miss Litten, who has been infant mistress at the Primary School, has vqceived notice of her appointment to the Mount Albert School. Miss E. Simmers, of Grosvenor Flats is visiting Auckland. The Misses Joan and Erima Bertram, who have been visiting Tauranga, have returned home.
Miss Catherine Young, of Pukaki Street, is spending a month's holiday in the Southern Alps. The Mi&ses L. and J. Hall have returned to their home in Pnrnell, Auckland, after spending a holiday in Rotorua.
Mr*. A. F. Moncur, of Fenton Street, is at present spending a holiday in the South Island.
Miss T). Corlett, of Hinemaru Street, who has been visiting Taumaranui, has? returned home.
Misss D. McAdain, of Scddon Street West, is visiting Nnpier, where she if the guest of Mrs, Ryan.
