CRIPPLED CHILDREN
OUTING AT BROWN'S BAY A delightful outing for the crippled children of the Mount Albert district was arranged on Wednesday by Dr.' and Mrs, J. Aitken Paterson. Picked up at their homes by members of the Mount Albert Crippled Children's Auxiliary, the youthful guests iverq taken to Brown's Bay. A swim was followed by lunch served in a marquee; on a shady lawn, the addition of cooj fruit drinks and ices being greatly aj> predated. Games were also enjoyed Another swim in 'the afternoon was followed by afternoon tea. The children were thoroughly appreciative of the day's outing, not the least part of its charm to them being the drive out and back again from Brown's Bay. Those who assisted Dr. and Mrs Paterson in their entertainment of their young guests were:—The Mayoress of Mount Albert, Mrs. H. A. Anderson, Mrs. A, X. Blenkarn, Miss Newland, Miss Morrison. Miss Julian, Mr. D. L. Thomas and Mr. Robertson.
