ATTA COMPANY'S BALL

COLOURFUL DECORATIONS Colourful decorations made the Peter Pan Cabaret look unusually 1 attractive last night when the Atta Taxi Company held its annual ball. Clusters of balloons in blue rose and amethyst tonings had been suspended over the dance floor, palms and foliage adding to the decorative effect. Members of the Atta Sports Club had done much to make the ball a success. Spot waltzes, novelty and streamer dances were among tho attractions of tho evening's programme. The guests were received by the president of the Sports Club, Mr. A. J. Crocker, and acting as hostess was Mrs. L. Rhodes, who wore a gown of black ring velvet. Wives of committee members present were Mrs. K. Raynes, who was in gold shimmer satin; Mrs. L. Postlewaite, black and red georgette trimmed with sequins; Mrs. T. Davies, peach pink crinkle organdie, and Mrs. A. Horspool, in orange damask satin relieved with black.
