TEACHERS ON STRIKE
POLISH SCHOOLS CLOSED WARSAW, Oct. 5 Eighty per ,x?nt of the schools throughout Poland, and all hut three in Warsaw, suddenly closed, due to a strike of teachers as the result of tho Government suspending the executive of the Teachers' Union and appointing a temporary curator on the ground of ■tho union's strong leanings to the Soviet. *
. A thousand teachers, as a protest, locked themselves in the union headquarters, which the police cleared.
