CANDID CRITIC
BOXER'S MANAGER FARR AND PUBLICITY RELATIONSHIP SEVERED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received October 0, 0.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 6 On his return from America Mr. Broadribb, manager of the Welsh boxer Tommy Farr, said : —"l'm through for ever with Farr. Although technically his manager until the contract expires next July, I am having nothing more to do with him.
"Publicity went to Farr's head," added Mr. Broadribb, "and long before tho fight he thought he was already world champion. "He resented my being in the ring during his sparring and telling and showing him what to do in front of critics.
"Finally he told me he could get on better without me in tho ring and threatened to punch my nose. That was after the fight. "I was unable to stand it any longer and we broke."
