OBITUARY
MISS FANNY WILLIS The death occurred at her residence, Great South Road, Pa pa k urn, -last week of Miss Fanny Willis, one of Papakura's oldest residents. Miss Willis was born, in Papnkurn S4 voars ago, and was the third daughter of tho late Mr. and Mrs. R. Willis. She was n staunch Anglican, and held the position of organist at Christ Church from the time she left school until a few years ngo. MRS. D. GOODWIN [ Hum OUR OWN C'OKIIKSPONDENTI MOimiNSVILLE, Saturday A pioneer resident of tho Okoroire and Timu districts, Mrs. Helen Goodwin, wife of Mt\ David Goodwin, has died at Morrinsvillo, aged 77, Air. and Mrs. Goodwin had been living in retirement at Morrinsvillo for a number of yours. Mrs. Goodwin was born at Limerick, Ireland, and came to New Zealand 55 years ago to bo married to Mr. Goodwin, who had settled in Now Zealand a short time previously, and had secured a position ot Okoroire. Tho Wiiikato and Thames Valley districts wero thou held in large estates, and for many years Mr. Goodwin was engaged in (ho manngemont of estates for land companies and for tho Assets Realisation Board. When tho estates wero .subdivided, Mr. Goodwin farmed at Okoroire for many years. Mrs, Goodwin is-survived by'her husband, ono son and two 'daughters.
