Supervised by Mr. Lewis Marks, the original producer in England, "Let's Go Places" will bo staged exactly as in the West End, where it enjoyed outstanding success. The setting' of the new show is on a large ocean-going liner, and includes many unusual and spectacular scenes, created with a lavishness of detail rarely found in an Auckland theatre. The original London cast, headed by George Doonan, popular English comedian, and Miss Catherine Stewart, who was a favourite with musical comedy lovers here a few years ago, has been supplemented by a number of interpolated acts, notably those of the Dawn Sisters and the Blenders. All the favourites of the first production, "This Year of Carnival." reappear in "Let's Go Places," which will be staged for a season of five nights and will include one matinee performance on Wednesday. Booking arrangements are advertised.
