OWNERS AND BREEDERS ASSOCIATION MEETING , ... Appreciation of the cordial relations existing between the Auckland Trotting Club and the Auckland Owners, Trainers rind Breeders' Association was expressed at a meeting of the latter body last, evening by the chairman, Mr. E. C. Webberley. Ho .said.that during the year the association had made marked progress, both in membership) and finance. He referred to tho kindly manner in which requests from the association had been received" by the Auckland Trottiiig Club. Mr. Webberley said the proposal to form a. New Zealand executive was in train, and would probably be put in motion very soon. Tho secretary, 'Mr, C. E. Craig, Reported on an interview.with the oflicials of the Canterbury Association regarding tho formation of a Dominion Council, stating that the Southern body was very favourable to tho proposal. He also gave a resunio of an interview with tho secretary of the New Zealand Association on the handicapping question, in which Mr. S. G. Lareombo expressed the opinion that' there -would bo no further trouble in the North over tho situation.

Spinley, reported at the annual meeting of that; body that it had come to his notice that tho skeleton of Pilar Lap lay in thp Dominion Museum,. and could not be mounted because of tho lack of funds. With tho consent of the committee, lie had got into touch with tho Pacing Conference, and the club had headed a subscription list with £5 ss, circulated among racing clubs,' to enable tho skeleton to be ■ mounted.
